Shipping and Returns

Halıcızade gives you 14 days from delivery to decide on a rug. Lay it in the room it was bought for, look at it in your own light, and if it is not right, tell us within those 14 days and send it back unmarked for a refund or an exchange. Refunds are paid to the original account within 21 business days of the request.

Terms differ by destination, because the courier arrangements do. The table below sets out what applies where, and the sections beneath it explain the steps.

How do I start a return?

Open the order in your account and create a return request against it. That is the only step that has to happen inside the 14 days; the rug itself can follow.

Roll or fold the rug, whichever the piece allows, and pack it firmly. A smaller parcel costs less to send, which matters on an international return. Note the packed dimensions and weight before you seal it, since every courier quotes on both.

Who pays to send it back?

Inside Turkey, Halıcızade pays. Take the parcel to any branch of Sürat Kargo or Yurtiçi Kargo and send it collect against the store account; the codes are given on the return request.

On an international order the return carriage is the buyer’s. Get quotes from DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT and choose whichever suits you. Import duty and tax already paid on the inbound shipment are levied by your own customs authority and cannot be refunded by us.

When is the money back?

The refund goes to the account that paid, within 21 business days of the return request. Banks add their own settlement time at the far end, which is outside our control. If the money has not appeared after 21 business days, write to us and we will chase it with the bank.

What if the rug arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?

Photograph it before anything else, keep the packaging, and write to us the same day. A rug damaged in transit or sent in error is collected at our cost wherever you are, and is replaced or refunded in full. The 14-day window does not apply to a fault.

Wear from use, burns, damage from washing and colors faded by direct sunlight are not returnable. Those cases fall under the rug warranty terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to return a rug?

You have 14 days from the day the rug is delivered to tell us you want to return or exchange it. On an international order the rug itself then has 30 days from delivery to reach us.

Do I have to give a reason?

No. An undamaged rug can be returned or exchanged inside the 14-day window without any reason given. Open a return request against the order in your account and the process starts there.

Who pays the return shipping?

Within Turkey, Halıcızade pays the return carriage and the parcel is sent collect from any Sürat Kargo or Yurtiçi Kargo branch. On an international order the buyer arranges and pays for the return courier.

When will I get my refund?

The refund is issued to the original payment method within 21 business days of the return request. The bank on the receiving end may add a few days of its own before the money shows on a statement.

Can I exchange a rug for a different one instead?

Yes. An exchange follows the same 14-day window and the same condition requirement as a return. Any difference in price is settled either way when the replacement is dispatched.

Is import duty refunded if I return a rug?

No. Import duty and tax are charged by the customs authority of the destination country, not by Halıcızade, and only that authority can refund them. The price of the rug itself is refunded in full.
