The story of this rug

Hand-knotted geometric rug in red, 202 × 294 cm (6'8" × 9'8"), built from red, coral and burgundy running tone into tone across a broad field. Wool takes care of the structure, cotton and bamboo viscose take care of the hand.

01Color that shifts through the day

Made in India, and most of these designs go nowhere but Halıcızade. The forms are simple and the color is not. Tone-on-tone transitions over a field this wide give the rug depth without any drawing to explain it: in daylight the reds are clean and bright, and under lamps at the end of the day the burgundy takes over and the whole floor warms. Geometry is what keeps it disciplined.

02How it feels underfoot

A red rug drawn any more loosely would be difficult to live with. Cotton, bamboo viscose and viscose supply the softness underfoot, and wool supplies everything that has to last. It is woven at conventional rug thickness, so it takes furniture without denting badly and passes under doors without trimming.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
