01Color, by the light

One piece. The palette is autumn without being literal about it — cinnamon and olive over a ground that sits between gray and brown, so the whole surface shifts according to what is next to it.

02Where it is laid

Put it beside brown leather and the brown comes forward; put it beside a gray sofa and the gray does. The pattern is a loose reading of Oushak drawing rather than a copy, with the motifs spread across the field instead of gathered into one medallion. Cotton foundation, wool pile, silk motifs — three fibers, each doing one job. It takes a full seating group without the sofa standing off the edge, which is the practical reason this width matters.

03Color that shifts through the day
