The story of this rug
White gets talked out of more often than any other color on a floor. White Plain Loom-Woven Viscose Rug — 100% viscose, made in Türkiye, 2,700 g/m², an eight-millimeter pile. Three sizes are woven, and the widest is 6'7" × 9'6", which is 200 × 290 cm. The white is held between warm and cold, which is the whole trick of it. On a bright morning the surface takes on the sheen of a pearl; by lamplight it flattens out and reads closer to porcelain.
01What Silk does
That shift comes from the way the pile lies against the light, not from anything woven into the design, because there is no design — the field is plain from edge to edge. Viscose is a cellulose fiber and it handles light the way silk does, which is the reason to want a plain rug and also the reason to think twice. Footmarks show, and only brushing the nap the other way removes them.

The weave is close at 2,700 g/m²; the rug has real weight when you lift a corner, and an eight-millimeter pile puts it in the middle range: not a flatweave, not a shag. It is woven in Türkiye.
03To make it last
Day to day a vacuum is enough, and a professional washer rather than a bucket takes it from there. 100% viscose, loom-woven in Türkiye. 2,700 g/m², with an 8 mm pile. A plain white field with no drawn pattern. Reads pearl in daylight and porcelain under a lamp. Takes footmarks; brushing the nap clears them. Three sizes: 130 × 190, 160 × 230 and 200 × 290 cm (6'7" × 9'6"). Vacuum regularly, and use a professional washer for a deep clean. Put it under a bed and it will be the last thing your feet touch at night and the first in the morning.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?

Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
