Zeminde ne var

Soyut Desenli Krem Kuzu Postu Halı'da zemin açık krem ile soluk sarı arasında; üzerinde siyah, dikey yönde akan dalgalı şeritler var. Şeritler eşit aralıklı değil, kimisi kalın ve kesintisiz, kimisi ince ve yarıda kesiliyor. Aralarında ince kahve hatlar geçiyor.

Kuzu postunun tüyü sığır derisinden uzun ve yumuşaktır; bu yüzden şeritlerin kenarları keskin değil, tüylerin karışmasıyla yumuşuyor. Halı elin altında kadifemsi hissediyor.

Ölçüsü ve nerede iyi durur

Türkiye'de, kuzu postu parçalarının kesilip birleştirilmesiyle üretilmiştir. Kuzu postu sığır derisinden ince ve küçüktür; bir kuzu derisinden çıkan yüzey sınırlıdır, bu yüzden 170 × 240 cm'lik bir halı çok sayıda parçanın birleştirilmesiyle elde edilir.

Birleştirmenin görünmemesi bu üretimin asıl sınavıdır: uzun tüy dikiş hattını örter, ama parçaların tüy yönü aynı olmazsa ışık her parçadan farklı döner ve halı yamalı görünür. Yani zanaat yalnızca dikişte değil, parçaların yön uyumunda.

Siyah şeritler ayrı renkte deri parçalarıyla kurulmuş; boyayla değil. Dalgalı kenarların iki parçada birebir uyması, kavisli kesimde şablon kullanıldığını gösterir.

Bakımı ve sınırları

Temizliği kuru temizlemedir; su ile temas ettirilmez, makineye verilmez. Uzun tüylü postlarda tüy zamanla birbirine dolanır; seyrek dişli bir tarakla ya da elle taranarak açılır. Full description

No lamb is this size, so a sheepskin rug of 170 × 240 cm (5'7" × 7'10") is many of them: cream skins pieced in Türkiye and cut into an abstract figure, with darker pelt framing the field at the edge. The surface is wool as it grew, the care is dry cleaning, and there is a single one of it.

Cream is the hardest color to hold across joined skins, because two pelts that look identical in a stack read as two different creams once they lie side by side. Here that has been used rather than fought: the abstract shapes are drawn by putting a warmer cream against a cooler one, with black and a dull gold appearing only where the figure needs an edge. The border of darker pelt closes the whole thing off and gives the rug a shape a floor can use.

The pile is real wool and it is long, so the rug sits high off the floor and feels like nothing else in the catalog underfoot. That height is also the caution. Long wool flattens where it is walked on and stays standing where it is not, and after a season the path across the room is legible on the surface; brushing it back lifts it, but it will not stay lifted. Dry cleaning is the only treatment, and a pad underneath keeps the skins from creeping on a polished floor.

At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
