The story of this rug

01Zeminde ne var

Soyut Desenli Krem Kuzu Postu Halı'da zemin açık krem ile soluk sarı arasında; üzerinde siyah, dikey yönde akan dalgalı şeritler var. Şeritler eşit aralıklı değil, kimisi kalın ve kesintisiz, kimisi ince ve yarıda kesiliyor. Aralarında ince kahve hatlar geçiyor.

Kuzu postunun tüyü sığır derisinden uzun ve yumuşaktır; bu yüzden şeritlerin kenarları keskin değil, tüylerin karışmasıyla yumuşuyor. Halı elin altında kadifemsi hissediyor.

02Ölçüsü ve nerede iyi durur

170 × 240 cm, yaklaşık 4,1 metrekare. İkili koltuk önü, yatak odasında ayakucu ve geniş bir çalışma odası için uygundur.

Kuzu postunun asıl yeri, üzerinde çıplak ayakla durulacak yerlerdir: yatak yanı, okuma köşesi, banyo çıkışı değil ama giyinme odası. Uzun ve yumuşak tüy, ayak altında dokuma bir halının veremeyeceği bir his verir. Türkiye'de, kuzu postu parçalarının kesilip birleştirilmesiyle üretilmiştir. Kuzu postu sığır derisinden ince ve küçüktür; bir kuzu derisinden çıkan yüzey sınırlıdır, bu yüzden 170 × 240 cm'lik bir halı çok sayıda parçanın birleştirilmesiyle elde edilir.

Birleştirmenin görünmemesi bu üretimin asıl sınavıdır: uzun tüy dikiş hattını örter, ama parçaların tüy yönü aynı olmazsa ışık her parçadan farklı döner ve halı yamalı görünür. Yani zanaat yalnızca dikişte değil, parçaların yön uyumunda.

Siyah şeritler ayrı renkte deri parçalarıyla kurulmuş; boyayla değil. Dalgalı kenarların iki parçada birebir uyması, kavisli kesimde şablon kullanıldığını gösterir.

04Bakımı ve sınırları

Temizliği kuru temizlemedir; su ile temas ettirilmez, makineye verilmez. Uzun tüylü postlarda tüy zamanla birbirine dolanır; seyrek dişli bir tarakla ya da elle taranarak açılır. Süpürgeyi düşük emişle ve tüy yönünde gezdirin. Krem zemin lekeyi gösterir. Yoğun geçiş alanında tüy yatar ve eski hâline dönmez.

At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?

At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.

Can I return it if I do not like it?

Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.

Will the color match what I see on screen?

Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

How does the price change between sizes?

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.

Can I see the rug in Ankara?

Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.

Can I ask for a size that is not listed?

Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
