The story of this rug
Like a length of raw silk laid flat, this pale pink rug carries its whole effect in the way it handles light. It is viscose and nothing else, worked on a loom in India, 4,500 grams to the square meter, the pile 12 mm high.
01The tone of the ground
There is no drawing on it of any kind — the tone and the sheen are the design. Pale pink is a difficult color to buy for a floor because most versions of it read as either sweet or dusty. This one is neither; it is a light, cool pink with enough gray behind it to sit beside white walls without turning them warm. Under direct sun the surface picks up an almost transparent brightness.
02The mark of slow weaving
In shade it goes matt and a shade deeper, and the same rug photographed twice in one day will not match. The construction is loom-woven — traditional hand finishing over machine knotting, done in India.
03How it feels underfoot
Viscose comes from plant cellulose, which is what gives it the smoothness and also what makes it delicate: it will show footmarks, and it is not for anyone who minds seeing where they have walked. Bare feet on a 12 mm pile is the reason people put up with that.
04From the hand of the weaver
Have it cleaned professionally and keep it away from water. The loom does the knotting in India; the finish is done by hand. 100% viscose, 4,500 g/m², 12 mm pile. Pale cool pink with gray behind it; no pattern. Bright in sun, matt in shade. Marks where you walk; not recommended if that would trouble you. Also made in project sizes on request. Professional washing. Bedrooms and dressing rooms are where these end up, and the reason is always the same: it is the nicest thing in the house to stand on.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.
Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340
Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.
Recommended: 80×290 · 90×390 · 90×490

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
