Green Plain Loom-Woven Rug, Focus Series

01The origin of the pattern

There is no motif anywhere. What the rug offers instead is a moiré, a faint watered movement in the surface, produced by the cotton and viscose lying together in the weave. It is for the room that does not want a pattern and would still be bored by a flat one. Wool, cotton and viscose in the yarn; the sheen belongs to the cotton and viscose.
