Handwoven Wool Hereke Rug, draws attention with its dense floral pattern covering the red background from edge to edge. The patterns, known as the classic composition called "Flower of the Seven Mountains," were designed in the early 20th century inspired by the seven hills of Istanbul. This motif brings together nine flowers and was woven by the decree of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The wide cream-toned border is surrounded by flower and leaf motifs arranged on navy branches, giving an elegant frame to the red background. The thin waterway on the inner edge of the border and the burgundy stripe on the outer edge add layered depth to the composition. The silky cream-colored fringes stand out as an elegant detail completing the rug's finishing quality. With dimensions of 122 x 180 cm, it suits entrances, foyers, and bedrooms.
