The story of this rug

Machine-Woven Cream Viscose Rug in an abstract line pattern — 100% viscose, woven in Türkiye, 3,250 g/m², pile between 5 and 7 mm. The drawing is linear and irregular, built into the weave rather than printed onto it, and the viscose makes one half of the surface read matte while the other reads bright. Viscose is spun from plant cellulose and handles light much as silk handles it, which is the entire reason to build a pale rug out of it.

01Color, by the light

Cream on its own would be flat. Cream in viscose is not: cross the room and the same field goes from soft to lit and back again. The lines running through it give the eye something to follow without committing the rug to a pattern that anyone has to decorate around. Made in Türkiye, machine-woven, and dense — 3,250 g/m² is a great deal of yarn for a rug standing only 5 to 7 mm off the floor.

02How it is protected

That combination is what makes it easy to live with: it wipes, it vacuums, it clears a door. The sheen means footmarks show, and anyone who would be annoyed by that should be choosing wool. Beyond the standard range, sizes are made to order. Machine-woven in Türkiye; the pile is 100% viscose. 3,250 g/m² — closely packed for its thickness. 5 to 7 mm pile, thinner than a conventional rug. Abstract linework worked into the weave, not printed. Changes tone with the angle of the light. Shows footmarks; not the rug for anyone sensitive to that. Wipes and vacuums easily; professional washing for a deep clean. Made to order in further sizes and colors. The last thing a cream rug usually has is depth, and the fiber is where this one gets it.

Which size fits your room?

The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:

Living room

At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380

Dining room

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340

Bedroom

Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Hallway · runner

Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?

At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.

Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

How does the price change between sizes?

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.

Can I see the rug in Ankara?

Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.

Can I ask for a size that is not listed?

Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
