01The origin of the pattern

The Oushak border does the framing and gives the eye the edge it needs. Cream, beige and brown carry it, and that range goes with almost any wood, as well as with burgundy and blue upholstery. Manchester cotton in the foundation and bright wool above it, tied by hand at a high density — which is the reason a rug that spends its life under chair legs stays flat and keeps its drawing.
