What is the difference between handwoven and machine-woven rugs?

Handwoven rugs are woven entirely by hand. Loom-woven rugs are produced using a combination of machine technology and handcraftsmanship. Machine-woven rugs are produced entirely by machine. The weaving technique used is stated on each product page.

What materials are your rugs made from?

We use a variety of yarns and materials including wool, cotton, silk, viscose, bamboo, Tencel, acrylic, synthetic fibers, and leather/hide. The material content of each rug is listed on its product page.

How should I clean my rug?

Most rugs require professional washing; leather/hide rugs are suitable only for dry cleaning. Please check the “Cleaning” information on the product page for exact care instructions.

How do returns and exchanges work?

Our return process is unconditional and extremely easy: undamaged products can be returned or exchanged free of charge within 14 days of purchase, no reason required. You can create a return request in just a few steps from your account.

When will I receive my refund?

Your refund is processed to your account within 21 business days of your return request being approved.

Do you have rugs suitable for homes with pets?

Do you offer rugs designed for children's rooms?

What prayer rug (seccade) options do you offer?

We offer a range of prayer rug designs in materials such as Tencel and wool, including our “Baş Başa” series.

Why might the color of the rug I receive differ slightly from the photo?

All of our product photos are taken by professional photographers under neutral lighting to represent each rug's true color as accurately as possible. Even so, minor tonal differences can occur due to screen and ambient lighting variations.

Where and how are your rugs produced?

Production location varies by product: some rugs are loom-woven or handwoven in Turkey (the Aegean Region, Kütahya, and around Ankara), while others are handwoven in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. The place of production is stated on each product's page.

Can I order a rug in a custom size?

Custom sizing is available for select rug designs. We also offer large-scale/bulk production for projects such as hotels and public institutions. Please contact us for details.
