Tencel yarn
Lyocell takes up moisture quickly and releases it quickly, which is why it feels cool to the hand. It does not give the warmth wool gives.

This rug is woven in Türkiye. It comes straight from the workshop with no reseller layer; the place on the spec sheet and the place it was woven are the same.

The story of this rug
At a distance it reads like brushed metal, and only up close does the surface resolve into geometry: Gray and Silver Geometric Loom-Woven Tencel® Rug, Duo Series — Tencel® on cotton, woven in Türkiye, made once at 6'7" × 9'6" — 200 × 290 cm. The figures are straight-edged and repeat across the whole field, with gray and silver swapping places often enough that no single shape holds the eye.
01The tone of the ground
Silver is the harder of the two colors to put on a floor, and it works here because it is used as line rather than as area. Against white walls, light oak, charcoal or black the rug settles and stays background.
02From ground to pile
Bring mustard, coral or petrol green into the room and it stops being background — the geometry picks the accent up and repeats it around the floor. The pile is Tencel®, a lyocell drawn out of wood pulp, worked over a cotton foundation on a loom in Türkiye with the ends closed by hand.
03Coming off the loom
This is the middle construction between machine-made and hand-knotted: more even and denser than the first, far quicker than the second. Two hundred by two hundred and ninety centimeters is a large-room size — a dining table with the chairs pushed back still sits inside its edges, and it will run the length of most offices. Loom-woven in Türkiye with hand-finished ends. Tencel® pile over a cotton foundation. Repeating straight-edged geometry in gray and silver. Quiet with white, light oak, charcoal and black; sharp against mustard, coral or petrol green. 200 × 290 cm (6'7" × 9'6") — a sitting room, dining room or office. Professional washing. It will be the calmest surface in a room and the one that tells you what color the room actually is.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.
Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340
Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
