The story of this rug
01Zeminde ne var
Historia Serisi Makine Dokuma Vintage Desenli Bakır Halı'da desen neredeyse tamamen silinmiştir. Vizon-bakır bir zeminin altında klasik bir halı kompozisyonunun gölgesi duruyor: madalyonun yeri, bordürün hattı ve dolgu motiflerinin izi seçilebiliyor, ama hiçbiri tam çizilmemiş. Yer yer soluk yeşil-gri alanlar zeminin sıcaklığını kırıyor. Bu, eskitme (vintage) etkisinin en ileri kademelerinden biridir: desen okunmuyor, hatırlanıyor.
02Ölçüsü ve nerede iyi durur
160 × 230 cm, yaklaşık 3,7 metrekare. Bu ölçü Türkiye'deki dairelerde ikili koltuk ya da küçük bir oturma grubunun önüne, yatak odasında karyolanın ayakucuna ve orta boy bir çalışma odasına oturur. Üçlü koltuk önünde kullanılacaksa halının koltuk genişliğini karşılaması için koltuğun 220 cm'yi geçmemesi gerekir.
Bakır ve vizon, renk çemberinde turuncunun koyu ve doygunluğu düşürülmüş bölgesindedir; bu yüzden sıcak nötr paletin merkezinde durur. Kil, terrakota, tarçın ve devetüyü ile aynı ailedendir; bu halı krem duvar, açık meşe zemin ve keten döşemeyle kurulmuş bir odanın ısıtıcısıdır. İçindeki soluk yeşil-gri alanlar, odaya girecek tek bir soğuk unsuru — adaçayı bir perde, zeytin bir kırlent, gri bir berjer — halıya bağlar.
Silik desen, dekorasyonda kullanışlı bir özelliktir: halı renk verir ama desen dayatmaz. Desenli duvar kâğıdı ya da güçlü bir tabloyla birlikte kullanılabilir.
03Nasıl dokunmuş
Türkiye'de viskon ve akrilik ipliklerle makine tezgâhında dokunmuştur; ürün verisinde dokuma sıklığı 100 tarak olarak geçer. Tarak sayısı makine halısında el halısındaki düğüm sıklığının karşılığıdır; sayı yükseldikçe birim alana düşen düğüm artar ve ince ayrıntı taşınabilir hâle gelir.
Bu halıda o sıklık, motifi keskinleştirmek için değil, tam tersine yumuşatmak için kullanılmıştır: bir deseni silik göstermek, keskin göstermekten daha çok ara ton gerektirir. Keskin bir madalyon iki renk arasında tek bir sınır çizerken, silik bir madalyon o sınırı onlarca ara tona bölmek zorundadır. Sıklık düşük olsaydı bu ara tonlar birbirine karışır ve halı silik değil bulanık görünürdü.
Akrilik, viskonla birlikte kullanıldığında yüzeye dayanım katar; viskon parlaklığı, akrilik ise hav ayakta kalma gücünü sağlar.
04Bakımı ve sınırları
Temizliği profesyonel yıkama; viskon ıslakken zayıflar. Bakır tonu güneş gören yüzeylerde zamanla açılır; halının önünde büyük bir pencere varsa yılda bir baş-son çevirmek renk farkını dengeler. Döner fırçalı başlık kullanmayın; düz emiş yeterlidir.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.
Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340
Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
