The story of this rug
Seven sizes, the smallest being 80 × 150 cm (2'7" × 4'11") flat and the biggest 200 × 290 cm (6'7" × 9'6") square, with two long narrow runners between them: the Sateen Series Frame-Patterned Rug, machine-woven in Türkiye using cotton with synthetic yarn, gray with cream and a gold line, on a non-slip backing.
01Reading the motif
It washes in a domestic machine. A frame pattern is the simplest classical arrangement there is: a plain center, a band around it, and a narrower band around that. It reads as a border drawn on the floor, and it does what borders do, which is make a room look as though someone measured it.
02Which tone on the ground
Cream carries the frame and the gold line sits inside it. Gray fills the middle and is left alone. The whole Sateen range is built the same way, thin and backed to grip, and this pattern is the one that suits a hallway.
03Which furniture, which room
Two of the seven are three meters long and only 80 or 100 cm across, which is a corridor measurement rather than a room measurement. The trade for that thinness is honest enough: nothing here is soft, and the rug lies almost flush with the floor.
04What the yarn is
Wash it cool, dry it flat, put it back down. Woven by machine in Türkiye; cotton with synthetic yarn. Gray center inside a cream frame, with a gold inner line. Backed so it does not travel on tile or laminate. Washable at home; lies flat again after drying. Runners at a 80 × 300 cm (2'7" × 9'10") strip and at 100 × 300 cm (3'3" × 9'10") likewise. Room sizes at 100 × 200, 120 × 180, 160 × 230 and 200 × 290 cm. Very little give: this is a thin rug and feels like one. The pattern was drawn to frame a floor, so it does its best work where the floor is worth framing.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.
Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340
Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
