The story of this rug
Sateen Series Plain Pink Rug — no pattern at all, a single soft pink from edge to edge, machine-woven in Türkiye, the yarn cotton and synthetic, over a non-slip backing. It is thin, and it washes at home in an ordinary machine.
01Knot by knot, by hand
Five formats are made, opening at a 80 × 150 cm (2'7" × 4'11") piece and reaching 200 × 290 cm (6'7" × 9'6") outright. With nothing printed or woven into it, the surface is the entire design, and what it does is take on the color of whatever light the room has.
02To make it last
Under a window the pink reads clean and slightly cool; in the evening, beside a warm bulb, it goes closer to clay. A plain rug also shows everything a patterned one hides, which is the argument for washing it rather than protecting it. The Sateen construction is the same across the series: low, backed to grip a hard floor, and light enough to carry with one hand. There is a three-meter length in the range for corridors.
03When you walk in
Nothing about this is a rug to sit on — it is a rug to stand on, in a kitchen or a child's room or in front of a basin, and to put through a cool wash when it needs it. Dry it flat. Plain pink, machine-woven in Türkiye. Cotton and synthetic yarn on a non-slip base. Washes in a household machine at a low temperature. Takes on whatever color temperature the room lighting has. Shows marks that a patterned rug would swallow. Five formats, one of them a corridor strip: 80 × 300 cm (2'7" × 9'10") exactly. Thin and light — easy to lift, with no padding in it. Plain pink is a harder color to place than a patterned one and an easier color to leave in place once it is right.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.
Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340
Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.
Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340
Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
