The story of this rug
Hanzade Series Handwoven Floral Pattern Cream Silk Rug, adds an elegant brightness to the space with the calmness of the cream tone. The patterns on it imprint on the surface like a delicate shadow appearing in daylight. Uşak motifs and floral patterns dance together in the texture of the rug; the soft surface of the silk threads slips through the hand as you touch it.
01First contact
One side of the rug shines to reflect light, while the other side welcomes with a more muted and calm expression. This effect creates an atmosphere far from ordinary by reflecting a different play of light on the floor with every step. Hanzade Series Handwoven Floral Pattern Cream Silk Rug, in its structure built with fine knots, perfectly combines wool and silk in harmony.
02The origin of the pattern
The transitions between the patterns are so smooth that it gives a natural flow rather than a sharp form when viewed. The cream color holds all the elements of the space together with soft transitions instead of harsh contrasts.

The fringes, tied by hand one by one, provide a final touch that harmonizes with the overall lines of the rug. The Hanzade Series, handcrafted in Türkiye, is one of the classic and elegant interpretations of the weaving art. It is carefully knotted on a silk base using 70% cocoon silk and wool. The floral details and Uşak motifs in its patterns reflect a traditional art understanding. While its shiny surface varies according to the light, the other side presents a more matte and dark appearance.

The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
