Viscose fiber temporarily loses its strength when wet, which is why a spill has to be lifted without being left to sit. It returns to itself once dry.

01Zeminde ne var

La Paz Serisi Vintage Desenli Kahverengi Viskon Halı, klasik bir halı kompozisyonunun üzerinden silgi geçirilmiş hâlidir. Vizon-kahve bir zeminin ortasında büyük bir madalyon, köşelerde köşelikler ve kenarda kartuşlu bir bordür var — hepsi yerli yerinde, ama hiçbiri net değil. Madalyon altın-oker tonunda ve kenarları zemine doğru dağılıyor; bordürün deseni yer yer tamamen kayboluyor. Aradaki dolgu motifleri soluk mavi-gri ve silik gül kurusu. Yani halı hem klasik hem değil: yapı klasik, yüzey aşınmış.

02Ölçüsü ve nerede iyi durur

200 × 290 cm, yaklaşık 5,8 metrekare — Türkiye'de salon halısının en yaygın ölçüsüdür. Üçlü koltuğun önünde koltuk genişliğini karşılar; köşe takımında L'nin iki kolunu toplar. Orta sehpanın madalyonun üzerine gelmesi kompozisyonu tamamlar, ancak sehpa madalyonu tamamen kapatırsa halının en güçlü kararı görünmez olur — bu ölçüde alçak ve küçük bir sehpa daha doğru tercihtir.

Vizon-kahve, renk çemberinde doygunluğu düşürülmüş turuncudur ve son yılların 'sıcak nötr' eğiliminin merkezinde durur. Krem duvar, açık meşe zemin, bukle ya da kadife döşeme, pirinç detay: bu halı o kurgunun yer düzlemidir. Türkiye'de viskon ve sentetik ipliklerle makine tezgâhında dokunmuştur. Aşınmış görünüm, dokumada 'bozulmuş' bir desenle değil, kasıtlı bir renk kademelenmesiyle elde edilir: madalyonun altın rengi, zemine doğru her sırada bir tık daha az altın, bir tık daha çok vizon iplik kullanılarak eritilir. Bu, keskin sınırlı klasik bir madalyondan daha çok renk hesabı gerektirir.

Viskon lifi ışığı boyuna yansıtır; halının açısına göre aynı alan bir bakışta koyu, diğerinde açık görünür. Vintage etkisinin fotoğrafta değil odada da sürmesinin sebebi bu hareketli yüzeydir.

Islak viskon kolay zedelenir; bu yüzden temizlik profesyonel yıkamayla yapılır. Evde ıslak müdahale, viskonlu halılarda lif kırılmasına ve yüzeyde kalıcı mat leke bırakmaya yol açar. Süpürgede düz başlık kullanın; döner fırça havı yorar. Ağır mobilya ayaklarının altına keçe koymak iz derinliğini azaltır.

Which size fits your room?

The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:

Living room

At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380

Dining room

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340

Bedroom

Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340

Hallway · runner

Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?

At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.

Can I return it if I do not like it?

Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

How does the price change between sizes?

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.

Can I see the rug in Ankara?

Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.

Can I ask for a size that is not listed?

Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
