The story of this rug
It behaves less like a rug than like a painted panel laid on the floor, all red and orange with no border to stop it. This is a handwoven Maison series rug from India, wool pile with viscose and bamboo viscose in the figure, on a cotton warp, made from 170 × 242 cm (5'7" × 7'11") up to 274 × 366 cm (9'0" × 12'0"). Red and orange sit two steps apart on the wheel, which is why the composition holds together instead of arguing with itself, and the abstract drawing keeps the two colors in unequal proportion rather than splitting the field down the middle.
01What the yarn is
Where the cellulosic yarns fall, the color goes glassy and light; where the wool falls, it stays deep and absorbent. That contrast is the entire structure of the pattern, and a photograph flattens it. A rug this saturated is easy to place and hard to ignore.
02Color that shifts through the day
It will sit under a gray sofa without a fight, and it will sit in a room already full of color and become the loudest thing in it — that is the honest range. Halıcızade keeps a handful of Maison drawings in the catalog and lets the rest go, which is why the series stays small.

Professional cleaning; the viscose does not take water at home. Made by hand in India, with wool in the pile. Cellulosic yarns carry the figure, and that is where the surface goes glassy. Red and orange in unequal proportion, without a border. Sizes from 170 × 242 cm (5'7" × 7'11") to 274 × 366 cm (9'0" × 12'0"). Photographs understate it; the sheen only reads in person. Professional cleaning only. In a quiet room it is the argument.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.
Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380
Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Bedroom
Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Hallway · runner
Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?
Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.
Will the color match what I see on screen?
Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
