The story of this rug
Navy machine-woven rug in silk and viscose, its field a classic frame — a floral center held inside a wide border with a second, narrower one within that — woven in Türkiye at a density of 100 reed, and it measures 200 × 290 cm, in feet 6'7" × 9'6". Machine-woven, and the house does not call it anything else: the pile, the edges and the fringes are all set by the loom. Silk and viscose both take light along the fiber, and that is where a navy this deep gets its lift — from an angle the field brightens toward steel and the border steps forward, then both settle back as you move. Machine-woven in Türkiye. Covers 200 × 290 cm of floor. Silk and viscose in the pile. Classic frame drawing: floral field, wide outer border, narrow inner border. Graded at 100 reed, the density measure Turkish machine looms are sold by. An even, repeated weave — no hand finishing, and none claimed. Professional washing. Near enough two by three meters — a full living-room size, and a frame pattern wants the furniture standing inside it rather than across its border.

Which size fits your room?
The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

Dining room
It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.

Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
