Mehmethan Özer

Mehmethan Özer has been at Halıcızade since 2004. General coordination is his main responsibility, and the house's visual and written content is the part of the work he keeps for himself — the photographs, the wording of a product page, the voice the shop uses when it speaks to people. He describes rug selling as a matter of feeling rather than figures, and he builds the house's language to match: plain, courteous, closer to a conversation than a catalog.
