The word “Pinhan” means “hidden, secret.” This mysterious and special touch is also felt in the rug’s patterns.
Its surface is fully knotted with wool yarns and has a cotton-heavy structure, making it very durable. The minimal use of synthetic yarn further enhances this durability. Produced by weavers, mostly Turkmen, in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
