Lyocell surface

Lyocell takes its light from the flat cross-section of the fiber, not from a treatment applied afterward. It stays after a professional cleaning.

Classic pattern

Classic pattern. The motif is built row by row as the weaving advances; it is only seen whole once it comes off the loom. The ground color is burgundy, red.

9 sizes at an equal unit price

Woven in 9 sizes, from 90 × 150 cm to 200 × 300 cm. You can work out the cost of moving up a size in advance: the difference is only the square meters added.

The story of this rug

"Let us make something different" is how Halıcızade describes the brief this came out of, and the Red Floral Loom-Woven Rug from the Zade series is the answer: stylized flowers, small branching stems and leaf forms spread across a fire-red ground, Tencel® and cotton, from looms in Oushak, in nine sizes ending at 200 × 300 cm (6'7" × 9'10"). The flowers are not botanical.

01The origin of the pattern

They are drawn flat and decorative, and they link across the field on thin stems, so the ground reads as one continuous plant rather than as a scatter of separate motifs. Fire red is the loudest ground in this group, and the vintage surface treatment is what keeps it from being harsh: the color rises and drops with the light, brighter by the window, faded toward the corners. Loom-woven in the Oushak district, with the fringes knotted individually by women there.

02From ground to pile

Tencel® and cotton give the face a cool, faintly silky feel underfoot — a different sensation from wool, and worth knowing in advance. The pile is low, so little works into it and a vacuum clears it quickly. Loom-woven in Oushak, Türkiye. Tencel® and cotton — cool and silky underfoot, not warm like wool. Stylized flowers and stems across a fire-red ground. Low pile, quick to vacuum. Fringes knotted one by one by women in the district. Which size fits your room?

The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:

Living room

At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

Recommended: 200×290 · 240×340 · 300×380

Dining room

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Recommended: 200×290 · 250×250 · 240×340

Bedroom

Either cover the lower two-thirds of the bed, or choose a size that extends 60–90 cm on three sides.

Recommended: 170×240 · 200×290 · 240×340

Hallway · runner

Choose one 25–30 cm shorter than the hallway, leaving 10–15 cm of floor on each side.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?

At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.

Can I return it if I do not like it?

Yes. You can return it within 14 days of delivery, no questions asked. On international orders return shipping is paid by the buyer.

Will the color match what I see on screen?

Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.

Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

How does the price change between sizes?

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.

Can I see the rug in Ankara?

Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.

Can I ask for a size that is not listed?

Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
