El Dokuma Geometrik Desenli Krem Viskon Halı, küçük bir yüzeye retro bir blok düzeni kurar. Krem-şeftali zeminin üzerinde turuncu-kiremit renginde kareler ve onları birbirine bağlayan ince hatlar var; kareler kenarlarda toplanmış, merkezde açık bir alan bırakılmış.

Full description

Orange-brick squares linked by thin lines, gathered around the edges of the field and leaving the middle open. A small hand-knotted rug from Nepal, 80 × 150 cm (2'7" × 4'11") in wool with viscose and cotton, on a ground sitting between cream and peach. Three tones, all out of the same warm family.

That restraint is a decision rather than a shortage. On a piece eighty centimeters wide a fourth color makes the surface crowded, and a block a few centimeters too broad closes the open middle the whole layout depends on — the arithmetic on a small rug is stricter than on a large one, because there is nowhere for an error to be absorbed. Viscose in the mix gives the blocks a faint sheen against the matt cream, and since the tones sit so close together that difference in light is doing real work.

Hand-knotted in Nepal, where wool and viscose have long been worked into the same rug: wool for wear on the surface, viscose for light. A rug this size does not define an area, it marks a point — a doorway, one side of a bed, the run of floor in front of a kitchen counter, a balcony — and two of them either side of a bed make a symmetrical pair. Small rugs slide, so this one wants a non-slip pad, for safety and because a rug that shifts wears out its own edges. The viscose loses strength when wet, so deal with a spill dry.

Care — three rules

Vacuum regularly

Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.

Treat spills before they dry

Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.

Leave washing to a professional

Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.

How does the price change between sizes?

Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
