Full description
In the gray square at the center stands a small horned animal. Around it are squares and rectangles of every size, each filled with its own texture: some dotted, some latticed, some checkered, some plain. A few hold X-shaped motifs, a few rows of leaves.
Small trees appear in a few of the squares; with their upright trunks and branches set symmetrically to either side, they recall the tree-of-life motif, which the literature on Turkish rugs associates with an ever-growing universe and a life rising toward paradise.
The colors are brown and cream with gray between them, all from the same earth family. A wide, plain cream margin is left outside the squares, and the pattern gathers in the middle.
125 × 186 cm (4'1" × 6'1"), about 2.3 square meters (roughly 25 square feet). Hand-knotted in Türkiye in wool and cotton. No fringe; the edge finishes in a plain cream band.
With the pattern gathered at the center, a coffee table should stay off it; this rug belongs beside a bed or in front of a reading chair, on floor that stays open. Brown and cream sit in the same earth tone as walnut and linen, and that closeness brings calm to the room. A dark brown leather chair or a bronze lamp base repeats the brown of the squares. A plain wall keeps the small textures readable.

The most common mistake in choosing a rug is buying too small. Here are the numbers, room by room:
Living room
At least the front legs of the sofas should sit on the rug. Leave 20–40 cm of floor showing around it.

It should extend 60–75 cm beyond every edge of the table, so chairs do not catch when pulled back.

Care — three rules
Vacuum regularly
Use a head without a beater bar, in the direction of the pile. Once a week is enough; dust is lifted before it settles between the yarns.
Treat spills before they dry
Blot, do not rub. Dampen with a suitable cleaner and dry.
Leave washing to a professional
Household machines are not suitable for woven rugs. One professional wash a year is recommended.

Which size should I choose for a living room?
At least the front legs of your sofas should sit on the rug. For a standard living room 200 × 290 cm is recommended; for wide rooms 240 × 340 cm or 300 × 380 cm. The scale plan on this page shows how much of a 520 × 420 cm room each size covers.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
For international orders, shipping, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance; there is no cash on delivery. Rugs in stock leave Ankara within 1–3 business days.
Can I return it if I do not like it?

Small differences in tone are possible depending on your screen. Open the images full screen to study the surface, and watch the review video where there is one. If you want to be sure, you can see the rug in person at our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara.
Can the rug be used over underfloor heating?
It depends on the pile height. Low-pile woven rugs work with underfloor heating and do not block the heat. If you are unsure, send the product code to Client Services on WhatsApp.
How does the price change between sizes?
Pricing is by the square meter. The price per square meter is shown next to the price, and it updates as you select a size.
Can I see the rug in Ankara?
Yes. At our showroom in Çankaya, Ankara you can see the rugs in this series and touch the weave. No appointment is needed.
Can I ask for a size that is not listed?
Custom sizes can be woven in many series. Send your measurements on WhatsApp and we will come back with a production time and a price.
