Cream and Green Floral Hand-Knotted Wool Rug, Sultan Series

01Where the Border comes from

It runs through the leaves and along the border in a value dark enough to anchor the cream, so the rug has a bottom to it rather than floating in the room. Gold is the warm middle tone between the two.
