01Coming off the loom

178 × 245 cm (5'10" × 8'0"), knotted by hand in Afghanistan. A single piece. Oushak drawing on an orange field is not the usual pairing, and it is what makes this a bridge between a classical room and a modern one.

The surface is wool throughout.
